Since 2008, Fran has provided knowledgeable advice to individuals, families and corporations looking to navigate Canada’s immigration system. Fran regularly represents clients in most categories of permanent and temporary status; as well as the entire spectrum of corporate immigration applications. She particularly enjoys the challenges of the corporate & economic immigration programs because of the ability to create win/win/win situations – the foreign national benefits by attaining status in Canada, the corporation benefits by the addition of highly skilled employees, and Canada benefits through the economic expansion that results.
Denise was drawn to the field of immigration law after completing her own journey to Canada from the Netherlands as a client of The Way Immigration. She joined our firm as a legal assistant before receiving her license as an immigration consultant. Denise specializes in family reunification applications, where she makes the dizzying process of sponsorship simple and stress free for our clients. She also practices in the areas of economic permanent residence and temporary status applications.
In addition to a post graduate Immigration Consultant diploma, Denise holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science and has a professional background in engineering and contract management. She is fully bilingual with fluency in both English and Dutch. When she is not working, you will find her busy with her husband and two young children – shuttling between various activities with her children, enjoying the great outdoors and volunteering in her children’s school.
Marlene specializes in the incredibly demanding Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) application process. Since joining the firm in 2008, Marlene has been responsible to ensure perfection in the technical details on thousands of LMIA applications. Marlene’s unparalleled attention to detail and wealth of understanding ensure that our LMIA success rate is one of the highest in the industry.
Marlene also spends time in the economic immigration area of our practice - dealing effectively with foreign government bodies on matters related to police and exit clearances, as well as assisting with the preparation of work permit and economic permanent residence applications.
