The Yukon Nominee Program (YNP) offers five streams through which applicants who intend to live in the Yukon can apply for Permanent Residence. There is no requirement to be working in the Yukon already in order to apply. You will need either a job offer from a Yukon based company, or the ability and intention to establish a business in the Yukon in order to qualify in any of the available categories.
The Skilled Worker Program is for qualified workers who have a job offer from a Yukon employer in a skilled position (NOC 0, A or B).

The Yukon Express Entry Stream is for skilled workers who have a job offer from a Yukon employer in a skilled position (NOC TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3), and who have a current Express Entry profile.
- the foreign national must show settlement funds to support themselves and their families upon arrival to Canada
- the foreign national must be in the federal Express Entry Pool
The Yukon Critical Impact Worker Program is for qualified workers who have a job offer from a Yukon employer in a semi-skilled position (NOC TEER 4 or 5).

The Yukon Business Nominee Program is for high net worth individuals with business management experience who wish to own and operate a business in the Yukon. Applicants who meet the criteria under this program receive a 2-year work permit to enable them to establish themselves and their business in the Yukon. At the end of this period, if they have successfully met the criteria of the program, they are issued a nomination certificate that enables them and their family members to apply for Permanent Residence.

The Yukon Community program provides flexibility for employers in hiring foreign workers as critical impact workers or skilled workers to allow workers to be employed in part-time and seasonal work. Employers can create:
